Who Should Join This Group?

This group is for the women who want to take control and responsibility in their lives!
Each week, we will dive into a different area in our lives to work through, grow, and be supported in.
This group is for women to support each other, put in the work to get the results in our lives we desire, and take action!
George Washington Carver once said that 99% of all failure comes from people who have a habit of making excuses.
In this group, we are working through our obstacles while being supported by other powerful women going through the same!

OUR EmpowHer LADIES
MARGARET MCCLURE
I went from nursing to here... what a crazy ride it has been!
Growing up, I had absolutely NO clue what I wanted to do- but I knew I wanted to help people. So, naturally I pursued a degree in nursing. Once graduated, I accepted a position in pediatrics. I then followed my passion into Mental Health Nursing where I helped Delaware build and open it's largest Mental Health Hospital. I worked mainly on the floor that specialized in addiction and mood disorders. While my time there was amazing, after several years I started to burn out in the mental health field, so i went back to my pediatrics job. Through this, I accepted a volunteer position at Joseph Patrick Fabber Memorial Foundation as their Board Nurse and Secretary. Through the nonprofit, I started fundraising and helping put on events. This is where my love for event planning grew. After a few years, I accepted a position with UnleashU Now where I am now the Director of Events with planning 20+ events a year with our team. Is this a high stress job? Absolutely. I didn't realize how much anxiety I had until I crashed and burned. I've been through a lot mentally and I could have immensely used that support before. Now, I'm so excited to have co-created this group where we can pour into one another and support each other. That's what this life is about. Not being alone!

JESSY MARSH
I was born in Washington State, but grew up in Delaware. In my young adult life I had moved away, and vowed that I would never come back- funny how life can have other plans for you! Fast forward several years- while I was on a weight loss journey my path had crossed with my now husband's. He had four daughters, and so him moving out of state was out of the question. I have lived back in DE since 2015, got married in 2016, and after several miscarriages we FINALLY had our daughter Paxton in 2019. Since becoming a bio mother, I have found it so important to support other women who file the 'step mom' role as well as having their own children. We're not given the same praise as 'step fathers' and it can be very taxing on our mental.
I have my bachelors in Human Services, and I have recently applied for my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I find holding safe, judgement free space for anyone that is looking for support, healing and growth makes my soul happy. I am so excited to be able to pour into any and all women that are aligned in creating a creative, supportive, encouraging and loving space! I cannot wait to see where this journey takes us!
